We are building a team to provide service and support to prospective clients transitioning to and/or in retirement.
We are seeking an Insurance Specialist that will be based out of our Ebensburg office.
The position requires someone to service and support existing clients and acquire new clients for the firm.

Job Description:
Set appointments to discuss insurance/retirement concerns.
Educate prospects on Medicare options.
Be able to explain and discuss various products and solutions.
(this includes Medicare plans, life insurance and other ancillary products).
Uncover and provide solutions to the needs or concerns of the client.
Develop and maintain relationship with new clients.
Ensure applications for new policies are processed correctly.
Provide ongoing service to policies as needed.
Follow all CMS and Dept of Insurance guidelines.
Maintain insurance license and annual training certifications.
Utilize Hometown Retirement Specialists sales process and systems.
Service existing clients and maintain relationship with clients.
Follow all policies and procedures as set forth by Hometown Retirement Specialists.
Attend scheduled staff meetings and training events.
Agents hired as 1099 contractors are invited to attend, but not required to attend staff meetings and training events.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Pennsylvania life & health license.
(or willingness to obtain within 30 days) Strong communication skills.
(including in-person, over the phone & written) Positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and follow an established process.
Desire to continuously develop skills and professional growth Must possess a valid drivers license & have reliable transportation.
Will be subject to fingerprinting & background check as part of the licensing process.
Compensation Plan:
We offer 2 career paths for our agents:
W2 and 1099 contractor positions Compensation is commensurate with experience and production.
Unlimited bonus plan.
Experience is helpful, but not necessary.
We will train the right candidates.
