Responsibilities:
Our nurses will document and provide skilled nursing care to our patients, following the developed plan of care and the patient's physician orders, while following confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Furnish services, treatments and diagnostic and preventative procedures as assigned per the plan of care.
Deliver exceptional care to the clients (ADLs, vital monitoring, wound care, administering medications as ordered, etc.
) Implement the nursing care plan for each patient.
Observe signs and symptoms and reactions to treatments, including drugs and changes in the physical or emotional condition, to the nursing supervisor.
Meet all documentation requirements of the government and home health agency policy and procedures.
Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality laws and regulations.
Accurately chart observations, interventions, and any necessary patient data.
Perform other tasks as assigned by nursing supervisor.
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania nursing license.
Must be able to pass PA State Police background check, FBI Fingerprints clearance and PA Child Abuse clearance.
CPR/BLS Certification.
Proof of recent 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray.
Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
MUST be reliable, dependable, and punctual.
Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
