Part Time - Ebensburg, Pa
Cambria Care Center is a 301-bed Skilled Nursing Center offering Specialty Care, Rehabilitation Therapies, Ventilator Care, Bariatric Care, access to on-site Dialysis Care, and a Center for Memory Impaired.
Located in Ebensburg, PA, Cambria provides both Skilled and Intermediate care. An outside courtyard provides a relaxing environment for residents and their families and friend.
To keep support this mission, our center seeks Housekeeping and Laundry Aides to perform a number of daily functions in an effort to maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment for residents, visitors, families and staff.
Responsibilities
Housekeeping/Laundry Aides Responsibilities Include
Providing a clean and sanitary environment for all residents, visitors, staff and families
Assuring resident rooms and furnishings are clean and sanitized
Maintaining cleaning carts and equipment
Following infection control policies/procedures to prevent the spread of illness and disease
Ensuring rooms are properly ventilated to prevent condensation, mold growth and odors
Collecting trash from patient and resident areas daily, and disposing properly
Cleaning and sanitizing all bathrooms, residents' rooms, public spaces and offices
Dusting and cleaning walls, windows, screens and privacy curtains
Reporting burned out light bulbs and to the maintenance unit clerk immediately
Additional maintenance duties, as needed
Qualifications
Housekeeping/Laundry Aides Qualifications
All applicants must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions, and must display strong communication, tact and interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or GED equivalent and previous housekeeping experience are preferred but not required. Candidate must be able to provide driver's license or personal identification card at time of interview and must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
