Inpatient/Outpatient/Admissions Unit
Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating entire treatment program for their patients, including assessments, problem identification, treatment planning, implementation of treatment plan, documenting progress, discharge planning, providing necessary updates/contacts with referral sources, individual and group sessions, maintain treatment according to departmental policies and procedures. If scheduled for admissions duties, counselor is responsible for facilitating admissions, assisting and coordinating the transition for the patient, coordinating care after admitted into treatment and facilitating discharge.
Training and Education
1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Service related field from an accredited college or university required.
2. Certified Addictions Counselor preferred.
3. Master Degree in Counseling or related field preferred.
4. Experience as a counselor in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center preferred.
5. FBI, Act 33 and 34 clearance required.
6. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with acceptable driving record verified by the P A Department of Transportation required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
